This Privacy Policy explains what limited information Lagnet (“Lagnet”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the Lagnet app for Android and the lagnet.io website, and how we use it. Lagnet is a game ping booster: while a boost is on, it sends your chosen game’s traffic through Lagnet’s servers, or all of your phone’s traffic if that game is not installed. Our main promise is simple: we do not keep your browsing history, the sites you visit, your DNS queries, or the contents of the traffic that goes through Lagnet. We do keep a small amount of account, subscription, connection, app usage and support information that we need to run the service, help you, and let you delete your account in the app.
1. No-Logs Commitment
Lagnet does not log or store the activity in the traffic that goes through Lagnet’s servers, such as:
- Browsing history
- Traffic content, including what you do in your games
- DNS queries
- Sites (domains) or web addresses (URLs) you visit
To share server capacity fairly, check that the service is working, fix connection problems and stop abuse, we keep limited connection records linked to your account or device. These can include when a server configuration was given to your device, when you connected and disconnected, and which server and configuration were used.
These records never contain browsing history, DNS queries, the sites or web addresses you visit, or traffic content.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the limited information we need to run the service and support you.
2.1 Device and Account Data
When you first open the app, it creates a guest account for you, tied to a random device ID on your phone. You do not need to give us your name or email to use Lagnet: signing in with Google is optional, and Lagnet works fully as a guest. If you choose to sign in, this guest account is linked to your Google account, as described in section 2.4. We may store:
- A random device ID created by the app
- App version and app identifier
- Device type (Android) and device model
- Country code from your phone’s region setting
- Preferred language
- Subscription status (free or Lagnet Pro)
- Last active time
The random device ID is also saved with Google Block Store, so the same guest Lagnet account can come back after you reinstall the app or set up a new phone. We only put this random ID there. We never put your account token or any activity from your traffic in Block Store.
If you change app settings, such as language or vibration feedback, these choices are saved to your account so they can be restored.
We use this information to run your account, keep the service working, and give support.
2.2 Games and Measurements
Lagnet shows numbers measured on your own phone. This is how that works and what data it involves:
- Which games are installed. The app checks which games from its own list are installed on your phone. Android lets it see only the games on that list, not all of your apps. This check happens on your phone, and the list of your installed games is not sent to us.
- Measurements. While a connection test or a boost is running, the app measures ping, jitter and packet loss about once per second. To do this, it briefly opens and closes connections to public servers in the game’s region that are run by large cloud and internet companies. No personal data or content is sent in these connections, but, like any internet server, those servers can see the IP address a connection comes from. To show the ping of each server in Lagnet’s server list, the app also briefly connects to our own servers.
- What stays on your phone. Your measured ping, jitter and loss values, the charts, your match reports, the game you picked and your server choice are kept on your phone.
- What we receive. A small set of app usage records (see section 2.3): which game you picked when you start or stop a boost or choose a server, whether the server was picked automatically or by you, the verdict of a connection test (for example “Good” or “Some lag spikes”), that the “Direct is better right now” notice was shown, the result of a match report (Lagnet helped, direct was better, or no comparison) and the number of lag spikes blocked shown in it, whether you shared a match report, and, if a boost could not start or stopped by itself, a short reason (for example “no network” or “the server stopped answering”). We do not receive your measured ping, jitter or loss values.
- Sharing a match report. If you tap Share, the app opens Android’s share menu with a short text. You choose where it goes. We only record that you tapped Share.
2.3 App Usage Data
We collect limited data about how the app is used, linked to your account. For example: when the app is opened, when you view the Pro tab, which plan you choose, whether a purchase was started or completed, which settings you tap, whether a connection to our servers worked or failed, and the game records described in section 2.2. This helps us understand how Lagnet is used, make the app better, and keep the service reliable. This data goes only to our own servers. We do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Each record may include its time, the app version, the IP address the request came from, and an approximate country, region or city worked out from that IP address by our network provider. The app sends these requests over your normal network, not through Lagnet’s servers, so this is usually the IP address given to you by your internet or mobile provider.
2.4 Sign-In Information
Signing in is optional. Lagnet works fully as a guest, using the guest account described in section 2.1.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Lagnet receives your name, email address and Google account ID from Google. We use them only to sign you in and to find your account if you sign in on another phone. We never see your Google password.
Signing in on a phone links your current guest account to Google, so Lagnet Pro you bought as a guest stays on the account. Signing in with the same Google account on another phone opens that same account there. Signing in to Lagnet does not share your account with any other app, even one that uses the same Google account.
You can sign out in Settings. This unlinks the phone from Google; Lagnet Pro stays active on that phone. Deleting your account, as described in section 3.4, also removes your name, email address and the Google account link.
2.5 Subscription and Billing Data
Lagnet Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. RevenueCat helps us check purchases and keep Pro access in sync. To do this, we share your account ID with RevenueCat. We may store:
- Product IDs
- Transaction IDs
- Renewal or expiry status
- Check details needed to manage access and match payments
Where Google Play billing is not available, the app may offer payment by card on a web payment page instead. That payment is handled by a payment provider. We send the provider your account ID so the payment is added to the right account, and we receive the payment result.
We do not store full payment card details.
2.6 Support Content
When you contact us, we may store:
- Email you send to support@lagnet.io, including your email address and any attachments
- Bug report text you send from the app (Settings > Report bug)
- An attachment you choose to add to a bug report
Bug reports are passed to our authorized support team through Telegram, together with a few basic details needed to help you: your account ID, country code, app version and device model. Email sent to support@lagnet.io is forwarded by Cloudflare to our support mailbox.
We use this information to look into problems and answer your requests.
2.7 Optional Speed Test
If you choose to use the Speed Test in Settings, the app sends short test requests to Cloudflare speed test servers to measure ping, download and upload speed. This feature is optional and is used only to show you the result.
2.8 Optional IP Checker
If you open IP Checker in Settings, our server reads the IP address of that request and shows it to you with an approximate country. The result is only shown to you and is not saved by this tool.
2.9 No Ads and No Push Notifications
Lagnet shows no ads, does not use your advertising ID, and does not send push notifications. While a boost is on, Android shows a status notification; it is created on your phone. If we add ads or notifications later, we will update this policy before they go live.
3. Permissions and Service Operation
3.1 VPN Permission
Android calls this a VPN connection. Lagnet needs it to send your chosen game’s traffic (or all of your phone’s traffic, if that game is not installed) through Lagnet’s servers over an encrypted connection. It is used only while a boost is on.
3.2 Seeing Installed Games
Lagnet declares the games on its list to Android, so it can see only whether those games are installed. It does not ask for access to the full list of apps on your phone.
3.3 IP Addresses and Connection Status
We may process the IP address of a request to secure, route and fix requests to our service. As described in section 2.3, it may also be stored with an app usage record, along with an approximate location worked out from that IP address.
We keep the limited connection records described in section 1, but we never link an IP address or those records to the sites you visit, your DNS queries, or your traffic content.
3.4 In-App Account Deletion
You can delete your account inside the app: open Settings, go to the About section and tap Delete Account.
When you delete your account, we sign that account out on all devices, remove the device ID from the account record, remove your name, email address and Google account link if you had signed in with Google, and mark the account as deleted. We may keep limited records, such as billing records and the support messages and reports you sent, only as long as they are needed for billing, security, support records or legal reasons. These records are no longer linked to your device.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Please cancel it in Google Play first (Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions).
After deletion, the random device ID stays on your phone and the app starts a new, empty guest account, so you can keep using the free connection test. If you can no longer use the app, you can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@lagnet.io.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Run and maintain the app and the boost service
- Pick servers and show you measurements
- Manage your account, account recovery and Pro access
- Sign you in with Google and find your account on another phone, if you choose to link it
- Check purchases and keep billing status in sync
- Understand how the app, its features and the Pro tab are used
- Answer bug reports and support email
- Keep the service reliable and fix problems
- Prevent abuse of the service
We do not sell personal information or build browsing profiles from the traffic that goes through Lagnet.
6. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as it is needed for real service purposes, including:
- Account and device data, while needed to run your account and give you access
- Sign-in information (name, email address and Google account ID), while your account stays linked to Google
- Subscription data, while needed for access checks, matching payments and records
- Limited connection records, while needed for capacity, reliability, fixing problems and stopping abuse
- App usage records, including request IP address and approximate location, while needed for reliability and security
- Bug reports, attachments and support email, while needed for support and record-keeping
Measurements, charts and match reports stay on your phone and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize account data that is no longer needed to run the service, as described in section 3.4.
We do not keep logs of browsing history, DNS queries, sites you visit, or traffic content.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect stored information, including:
- Encrypted connections where applicable
- Access controls
- Monitoring and regular maintenance
No system is completely free of risk, but we work to keep the service secure.
8. Children’s Privacy
Lagnet is not meant for anyone under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. This Website
lagnet.io sets no cookies, uses no third-party analytics, and loads no scripts, fonts or images from other companies. When you visit it, Cloudflare and our web server process your IP address, browser details and the page you ask for, to deliver the page and protect the site. Our web server keeps these logs only for a short time, for security and troubleshooting.
The web payment page and the subscription page (the pages the app opens when you pay outside Google Play) run a small script from lagnet.io. It sends your account ID, the plan and payment method you choose, and the steps you take on the page (page opened, plan or method chosen, payment started) to our own server at api.lagnet.io, to create the payment and to see where payments fail. It keeps your account ID in your browser’s storage on this device for up to 30 days, and whether the last payment set up auto-renewal until you close the tab, so the page still works when you come back from the payment provider.

11. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date on this page.
If you keep using the service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated policy.
